Celebrating Failure

This semester I failed at acquiring a second interview with target. This starts with a success which makes the failure even harder to swallow but it also motivated me to be better and find my faults. After Career Showcase I was asked to do an interview with target for an internship spot this summer. I felt very confident and believed I did well in the interview, but was informed that I would not be asked back for another interview. Even though this hurt it also motivated me to try to recognize where I struggled in the interview and improve on this. It also made me think to the future because I want to do so well that I can look back and say that target missed a huge opportunity to have me in their organization. I think failure is something that is very polarizing for people because you either take it as a challenge to better yourself or you let it defeat you and actually regress because of failure. Figuring out Buyer Behavior 1

1.      My segment is college students who Smoke in any capacity whether it is tobacco or cannabis. 2.      Interviews: o    Interview 1: A college male who smokes cigarettes My interviewee started off by saying that he is bothered during summer by the immense heat that you feel in Gainesville, Florida. He says that sometimes when he wants a cigarette he dreads the thought of sweating profusely just to go outside and do something that he enjoys and that helps him relax. He also is aware that when he does smoke and then goes to social events or out to midtown that his friends will tell him that he smells like stale smoke. He says this is frustrating because him smelling like smoke may inhibit his ability to meet and become friends with new people.
