Final Reflection

My most formative experience was probably the celebrating failure assignment. I always tried my best to not let failure cloud my vision and to use it to excel rather than to regress, but was not perfect at doing this. That assignment made me think deeper into what failure really is and use it to propel myself forward to even better things than what I failed at originally. The experience I’ll remember for years is probably the interview assignment with the people close to me. Hearing what they had to say about my social capital was something that was very unique and rewarding. That is something that will stick with me in the future. My most joyous experience was probably when we were done with all of the interview assignments for the semester. I think those were the most difficult assignments when you are a busy student and you sometimes have to get in contact with strangers to interview. Venture Concept 2

The people who have the need for my product are smokers who either do not want to smell like smoke or do not want to harm the people around them with second hand smoke. Another person who may want my product is a young adult currently in college who wants to be able to smoke inside without the inside area smelling like cigarette or marijuana smoke. This stems anywhere from just the everyday smoker with kids to a professional business man or even a lazy college student. These people may only have one of the reasons to use the product or many. The professional business person may not want to smell like smoke for meetings or other work-related tasks but may also not want to expose their children at home to the dangers of second hand smoke. Just like the everyday person first thinks to protect their children and other loved ones from second hand smoke but may enjoy the benefits of not smelling like smoke themselves.   This is an important need to satisfy because smoking is looked at a...

Exit Strategy

My exit strategy would be to sell my business hopefully for a large sum of money after 5-10 years. I think that my product is interesting and I have things that make me love it, but I would see myself getting bored doing the same thing for such a long time. I think that I would want to eventually work somewhere else or invent a new product with the money I have acquired from this business. I would consider handing the business down to my children if they showed interest in it, but that is the only thing that would change my decision to hopefully sell the business for a large sum of money. I selected this because like I said before even though I do love this product because it is something that solves a problem I had it is something that would bore me after a long period of time.
